34 World of Outlaws Late Models signed into Deer Creek Speedway. The drivers are earning points the first two night for the finale on Saturday's $50,000 to win main event.
"Red Beard" Tyler Bruening would stop the clock the quickest in qualifying. Heat race winners were Sorensen, Pierce,Bruening, and Gustin. After the redraw Gustin and Sorensen drew the front row starting spots.
Gustin would lead the first eleven laps before an epic battle for the lead started with eventual winner Pierce. The lead duo would swap the lead several times before "The Smooth Operator" took control for good and pulled away the final 10 laps.
Pierce thanked Gustin in victory lane for a good clean race while battling for the win. Pierce’s Longhorn Chassis with Vic Hill Power built a four and half second lead when the final yellow waved with four laps to go. Gustin and rest of the field had nothing for the 32 as he would cruise to the checkers.
