Drake Troutman from Hyndman Pennsylvania won the exciting 20 lap Modified feature after a 3 wide battle for the lead with Mike Harrison and Michael Ledford. Mike Harrison and Troutman would lead the field to green with Harrison taking the early advantage as everyone behind him would start battling it out. The race would come to a stop as Ben Harmon got upside down going into turn 2 after contact with Dean Hoffman turned the young Kentucky driver right and hit the fence causing him to roll over. Harmon was uninjured and the track crew would repair the fence before going back to green.

Back to green flag action and both Troutman and Ledford would catch Harrison and go 3 wide for the lead as Troutman would take it away from Harrison as Ledford would also pass Harrison to set his sights on Troutman but Ledford himself was under fire from last year's Gateway Dirt Nationals Champion Tyler Peterson. Peterson would go pass Ledford but ran out of laps trying to catch the winner Troutman.
