Feger Wins Sycamore Takes Week 1 Summer Nationals Points

Jason Feger passed Brian Shirley on lap 21 to take the win and clinch the $10,000 point fund for Week 1 of the Summer Nationals. Shirley was 2nd with Dennis Erb Jr Mike Spatola, and Shannon Babb rounding out the top 5.

37 Late Models took time with Drake Troutman once again topping the qualifying charts. He would go on to claim the win in his heat race along with Spatola, Shirley, and Christian Hanger.

Feger and Shirley battled Saturday at Fairbury with Shirley winning that war but Feger wasn't going to lose to his buddy 2 nights in a row.

Shirley was running the bottom and Feger went 1 lane higher to move around the leader to win by a little over one second when the checkers waved.

Dennis Erb Jr finished second in the points 35 behind Feger. Moyer came into the night just 7 points out but he finished 19th.

The mini series resumes tonight in Wilmot,WI.
